Things to do at Low Newton

A most beautiful coastal walk starts from the pub; you can turn right and walk to Craster past the dramatic ruins of Dunstanburgh castle or turn left and walk over the headland onto the beautiful Beadnell beach and on toward Seahouses, Bamburgh and if you are still feeling energetic the wonderful Budle Bay, with it's extraordinary array of bird life.

There is a good golf course at Embleton - just along the coast if walking from Newton or two miles by road. You can fish off the rocks; snooze in the sun; build sandcastles with the kids; explore rock pools; watch the windsurfers; walk the dog or watch the birds. Or you can just watch the sea and the sky and think how lucky you are to be here!!
